This programme will help the learner
- know the meaning of equality and diversity
- understand the concepts of prejudice and discrimination and the effects of them
- explore Human Rights and how it affects everyone
- explain why equality law is important to organisations
- provide organisational support in regard to equality.

This qualification is spread out over 12 tutored days and it consists of three modules.
Assessment criteria — the individual is required to complete a series of evidence-based assessments, contained in a learning diary and workbook.

This programme will help the learner

- Recognise why diversity is important in the workplace
- Understand how to manage diversity in the workplace
- Understand what is required to implement equality and diversity within an organisation
- Understand the difference between equal opportunity and equality of opportunity.
